EV charging experience is strongly preferred, but EVITP certification is not required to apply.

  • Hands-on electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Knowledge of building electrical and low-voltage wiring
  • Experience using multimeters and electrical hand/diagnostic tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel until a company vehicle is provided
  • Comfortable with extensive field travel, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service
  • Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend service needs

Preferred

  • EV charging station / EVSE installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, or repair experience
  • EVITP certification or eligibility to obtain certification
  • Electrical or industrial field service experience
  • Experience troubleshooting Wi-Fi, cellular modems, switches, or other network-connected equipment

OpConnect is currently working to establish a facility/warehouse in Southern California. Once operational, technicians will transition to working from that location when not servicing customer sites.

This is a highly mobile position with up to 85% field travel.
